After suffering through weeks of seemingly endless gray skies and rain, its finally nice again! This weekend reached the mid 70's and was beautiful.
Saturday Miss Pup had a very important appointment, at the groomers. Instead of getting her shaved like I usually do, I decided to get her "furminated". I learned from several groomers that shaving double-coated dogs is actually a terrible idea and they won't even do it! I had never heard this before, but I'm glad I finally learned!
So after a complete furmination, two baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and lots of brushing...a thing of beauty was created! Oh and she smells MUCH better.
Saturday afternoon we headed up to Pier Park with Sobo, Sarah, Jen, and Todd. The boys and Sarah played frisbee-golf while Jen and I soaked up some sun on a blanket. It was very relaxing.
Erik and I stopped by New Seasons afterwards to get red wine and fancy cheese. As well as a pepperoni pizza :) It was a great combination, and we felt quite sophisticated.
Sunday I spent most of the day getting a sun burn with my friend Gretchen. Well, she got a tan and I got a good burn on the right side of my body. Its quite painful and very attractive.
All in all, a great weekend!
