Yes, we're still alive!

The summer is just flying by; I can't believe its August! Fortunately, summers are longer here so I can enjoy it for a couple more months. Erik and I are doing really well. I still love my job (well most of the time) and am enjoying continually improving our home. Erik actually applied for a job at a consulting/samping firm (a huge client of my lab, actually) and is waiting to hear back from them. My boss actually put in the good word for Erik and it looks fairly promising. He feels a little uncomfortable applying for a job when he has only been working at Test America for a month, but this is the perfect job for him and is an opportunity he should not pass up.

Last night we went to a party hosted by one of my co-workers with Ryan, Sarah (yay! She lives here now), Jen, Kristin, and Todd. It was a pretty good time and afterwards we hung out in the hot tub at the guys' place. It was a fun night.

Today we saw The Bourne Ultimatum (it was pretty good, REALLY good if you ask Erik). We'll be spending the day on the coast tomorrow with the dogs. They have never seen the ocean so it could be pretty entertaining. The weather should be great and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures.

We are totally enjoying our new couch (finally a place to relax!) and washer and dryer. I discovered I love getting new appliances, that could be an expensive habit.

The dogs are doing well. They behave themselves while we are gone (according to our neighbors) and love going on walks. Its funny how excited Miss Pup gets when she hears the W word. I'm so thankful she is healthy in her "old" age. She'll be ten in september!

My mom is currently in Anchorage visiting Maria, little Eric, Christian and Jeff. Johanna, if you want to give her a call: 208-290-7507. Ben will be coming home from Iraq in just a couple short weeks, I am so excited that he'll finally be done.

That is all the news in our lives, I'll update with pictures after I FINALLY fix my computer tonight. I'm sure I've got some good ones.

Erik is right. Bourne Ultimatum was my favorite of the 3. It was REALLY good. Super, duper badass in my opinion. Yay Erik!
